World Jewish Travel Signs Cooperation Agreement with Spain's RED Organization

On April 27 2014 World Jewish Travel management team met with the General Secretary, Assumpcio Hosta of RED (de Juderías de España) and Professor Shaul Krakover, an advisor who specializes in Jewish Heritage Tourism, to sign a cooperation agreement.

This significant partnership allows both parties to share their content, both audial and visual, in the purpose of promoting Jewish travel and culture preservation. In addition to this a future eBook of WJH will be release depicting Spain’s significant Jewish landmarks.

The event began with a tour of Rothschild Boulevard in Tel Aviv, guided by WJT founder and president, Jack Gottlieb and continued to Mazeh 9, a municipal incubator for social entrepreneurs, where the future cooperation between both sides was discussed.

RED is a non-profit organization thats serves as an umbrella for a number of Jewish communities around Spain. They aim to promote Jewish cultural, touristic and academical projects, sharing experiences and actions in Spain and abroad and developing politics of sustainable cultural tourism in their cities.
